Praise For Let’s Go, Little Roo
The illustrations in Let’s Go, Little Roo by author/illustrator, Renee Treml are gorgeous. There’s a different single colour wash for each double page spread, in which the black and white images of the kangaroos roam, seen from both afar and up close.
Let’s Go, Little Roo is a sweet and simple story about overcoming your fears and making friends, which can be enjoyed by readers young and old.

This picture book is an excellent book to share with young children to help them to understand that it is ok to be afraid of new situations but that there is also a good chance that other people are feeling the same way as them.
It also shows them that a small act of bravery – saying hello to a new playmate can turn the day into one that you hope will never end!
This gentle, warm story conveys the fears of small children who prefer the comfort of the known to the fear of the unknown. The pages are in soft pastel shades while the kangaroos and wallabies are in realistic tones of grey. Perspective varies from close-up faces to animals playing far off in the distance. A lovely book to share with little people who may feel the same way.
