Author Visits

I love visiting schools and libraries and my sessions are fun, engaging and educational.

My interactive sessions can be presented in person or virtually.  My sessions are perfect for primary school children, but they are also appropriate for secondary students and adults.

Presentation/Workshops include:

• NEW in 2025! The Thylacine and the Time Machine: all about the past, present and (possible) future of the Tasmanian Tiger (grade 2+); plus draw your favourite endangered or extinct animal or (grades 4+) make a comic ‘zine in favour or against de-extincting an animal
• Telling a story with illustrations: creating comics/graphic novels (grade 2+)
• Mystery-writing: how to write a fun and interesting mystery that makes sense (grade 3+)
• Character development: creating memorable characters that practically write their own story (grade 1+)
• Illustration workshop: learn to draw realistic and comic-style animals (grades 2+)
• Rhyme-time: write and illustrate a group story in rhyme (P – grade 3)
• Australian animals: guided drawings, stories and heaps of animal information (K- grade 2)
