I should be clear that I did not organise the fundraiser — the lovely ladies behind BrisStyle get all the credit — I am just a happy participant. I think it is safe to say I am cancer-free now too (I like to think so anyway).

I love your work — it is SO amazing! You have an absolutely amazing gift. I would love to show my students a few examples of your work the next time I teach a workshop. I like to introduce my students to different scratchboard artists, just so they don’t get stuck doing it my way. Your work is such a perfect example of how to use light and contrast to create dramatic and realistic images.

It is so simplistic but very detailed. You are so creative which is a direction I am hoping to go in with my scratchboard art. I can empathise with you with the breast cancer too as I have travelled that road as well. But I consider myself cancer free now. It is certainly not a life sentence with all of the advances and technology we have these days thanks to the tireless efforts of people such as yourself who organise fundraisers to further the cause.
