RTreml-headshot2I am an artist, a writer and a mom, although not necessarily in that order.  I am also a breast cancer survivor, but that is a story for another day.

My illustrations are created primarily with scratchboard, although I still love to pull out the paint and brushes and get colourful. These days I am trying to master digital illustration to reduce waste for projects that don’t necessarily need ‘originals.’

Wherever possible, I utilize eco-friendly practices in my studio and product line.

This year I will be participating in a few design markets and art exhibits in and around Melbourne.   I have three picture books published by Random House Australia, One Very Tired Wombat, Colour for Curlews, and The Great Garden Mystery, one baby board book, Once I Heard a Little Wombat, and another due in August 2016.  I have also illustrated two books for Scholastic Australia: Daddy, You’re Awesome! (by Laine Mitchell) and Moon Dance (by Jess Black).

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or ideas for illustration projects, exhibits or freelance work.

For all book and literary projects, I am represented by Jill Corcoran Literary Agency.

For school and library visits, workshops and talks, I am represented by Creative Net. I have a wide range of programs and workshops which can tailored to meet your audiences age group, ability and interests.
